Obviously it's rough and I'll probably never find the time, and I still have some unassigned characters (Ryusui, Yuzuriha, etc) but feel free to share your thoughts. I'm prolly missing some amazing opportunities that I just haven't considered yet.

Poseidon = Hyouga
Okay, I know I said the pantheon would be the villagers, but aside from Moz, I think the only “villain” worthy of this role is Hyouga. It raises some questions as to his relationship with the cyclops, but eh, I'll roll with it.

Calypso = Luna
Come on, this is PERFECT! You can see it, right? Luna being all clingy and “Love me!” But her love gives Senku time to heal before returning to his journey (& to Gen!).

Circe = Ruri
Not a perfect fit, but consider that as an enchantress, she's kind of like an idol AND she was a (brief) romantic rival to SenGen. It works if you squint.

Some controversial choices:

Hermes = Chrome
Hear me out: it's Chrome's turn to be the one leading/teaching Senku, and what better god than the patron of travelers?
(Also, it saves him from Senku's crew 😢)

Apollo = Ginro (specifically his bishonen form)

Ares = Kinro (I don't love this one, Moz fits better but I like keeping the brothers together)

Aphrodite = either Amaryllis or Kirisame, undecided

What about our Ishigami Village pals?
Let's make them the Greek pantheon!

Athena = Kohaku (seriously, this could not be more perfect)

Zeus = Kokuyo (less perfect, but thematically apt)

Hephaestus = Kaseki (right?)

Hera = IDK, maybe Turquoise?

Next up, Senku's crew:

Eurylochus = I'm thinking Tsukasa. This is Ody's #2, someone he relies on to be powerful and keep others in line. I think Tsukasa fits best.

Polites = Taiju, a kind and light hearted best friend. (I'm sure nothing bad will happen with this)

I think the sleazy upstarts that hassle Gen while Senku is away are the Americans, so:

Antinous = Xeno

Melanthius = Stanley

Various other Americans to fill in various infiltrator roles

Odysseus = Senku (obviously)

Penelope = Gen (duh)

Telemachus = Suika (because why not?)

We open in Troy at the end of the war, Senku isn't a warrior so much as he's a tactician&general (Trojan horse, etc) and he's been at war for 10years, dreaming of the day he sails home.

This idea is pure brainrot brought on by listening to WAY too much of Epic: The Musical (amazing by the way, go find it if you haven't already) so it would be an abridged version of an already abridged story. But if you'd like to join me in my hell, here's the cast list so far:
