To friends, family, and colleagues, I will be observing the Meta/FB blackout until May 11. Perhaps longer. Likely a healthy break and opportunity for a dopamine diet.

Be worried when a candidate for Prime Minister talks "notwithstanding clause" as part of their campaign. Can you say "abuse of power?"

Canadian Progressive voters, if it is clear your candidate is not going to win its seat, throw your support on the best progressive candidate who has the most likely chance of winning. We have the next four years to rebuild our parties. Now is not the time to fall on our swords.

Here we are Nanaimo-Ladysmith. Say no to rage farming, disinformation, and yes to preserving medicare and a strong social safety net as we transition to a vibrant innovative new green economy that works for everyone. Vote!

Is rage farming the kind of leadership we envision for #Canada? Didn't think so.

Is it just me who sits at my monitor squinting to read, wondering why I can't see a damned thing, while my glasses sit perched atop my pointed coconut?

While Tesla stocks crater (including near 5% drop today), one year ago they traded at 176.88. Today 221.86. Keep pushing. Regardless of the lovers' spat bet EM and 47, EM happily ran roughshod over all US federal depts, fired critical staff indiscriminately, and stole your data. Ignore him.

Fact: (and I quote) "Although headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, the company [Husky Energy] has been majority owned by a Hong Kong businessman, Li Ka-Shing, and his family since 1986."

As consumers, do we know who owns Canadian corporations and the sway they have on the national landscape?

Is this how we envision Canadian leadership on the global stage? I think not!

We need to tighten up our borders to ensure convicted felons like DJT are barred from Canada.

One of my #HR Mgmt professors stated "a company gets the union it deserves." #Unionbusting is at an all-time high while worker abuses escalate. Besos claims "workers should come to work afraid" every day to boost productivity. This is cruelty in action. Time for the pendulum to swing.

Providing health care to all residents regardless of their circumstances does not make Canada communist. Get over that sh!t. Taking care of each other is reaching for the best of our humanity. Try it!
