Iris! Aside from her being really pretty, I thought she was pretty relatable.

I saved her route for last because I thought it would be a nice break after all that talk of magic and demons in the other routes. 🥲

Consequently, the perpetually small minorities in both houses of Congress can breathe a little easier. Long-term, this shows that there is a path to recovery - from seeming remnants of the old post-EDSA liberal-democratic elite to a productive and genuinely liberal and progressive opposition.

Marcos and Duterte candidates took most of the 12 upper house seats up for election. However, Liberal opposition bets Aquino and Pangilinan placed 2nd and 5th, respectively, massively outperforming expectations. The social-democratic Akbayan partylist won the most votes.

The lower house is more complicated - each voter gets to vote one member of congress, but also one partylist. Each partylist represents a sector or group, with each being awarded seats proportionate to their number of votes (up to three).

Some context: There are 12 upper house seats up for grabs. Each voter gets to vote 12 senators, and the 12 senators with most votes nationally gets those seats.
