「選択的夫婦別姓制度の必要性を考える」

どうして学会が政治問題を議論するの?という思う人は想像力を働かせてほしい。研究者にとって姓がキャリアの途中で論文の著者名が変わることは好ましいことではない。もちろん他の社会活動でも同じようなことはあるわけですが。私の男性の同僚は自分が改姓したので、姓を2つ続けて表す策をとったりした。
世界で別姓が許容されない国なんてわずかだし、日本の世論も選択的別姓支持が圧倒的です。なんで?

本当は政治的でさえない問題なのにねえ。
