Haha I personally don't think there was any real chemistry of any sort. Just two people mourning losing their families and a man trying to keep a kid safe. People just tend to jump on anything where Daryl stands next to a female, some seem obsessed with shipping him with anything that moves 💀

And the timeline is super narrow in general the first 8 seasons. Season 1-8 play out over less than two years, so it's no wonder they started going mad at Alexandria with all they'd been through during that time 😭

Yeah they used an actress who was quite a few years older which I think confused people a lot unfortunately. I like the idea of them being good friends. Another thing I don't think people realize is they actually only spent ~2.5 days together running from the prison until she got kidnapped 😭

Yeah it's frustrating tbh. I get wanting to see what's happening in Europe but I feel like maybe a spinoff with new characters could have done that, and they could have kept Daryl and Carol in the US. New Mexico like they were meant to do originally or something like that.

(Basically I think they forgot they did a 1 year time jump at the end of the show, haha! If that time jump hadn't happened, the years would add up.)

This list is awesome though and I'm highly considering re-watching the TV shows in chronological order now!

There's a one year time jump at the end of the season 11 final for the main show so it technically ends 4650+, which is so weird with the TWOL timeline and also DD since they claim they're only 12 years into the outbreak in that show (which would be like 4380+)... classic TWDU issues, lol!

I'm Daryl/Carol all the way for romance, them being promoted as soulmates and all ❤️ Considering Beth was about 17 and Daryl in his early 40's, Daryl and Beth was the start of like a father/daughter kinda thing (according to a producer), which just made her death even more sad. Lost a kid 😭
