The only thing Linda has to lose is money, she never had integrity, honour or decency to begin with.

More jaw-dropping evidence today from former ABC Content boss Chris Oliver-Taylor. Apparently Nick Leys asked him an email exactly what policy Antoinette Lattouf had breached. Oliver-Taylor didn't email back. He still doesn't seem to be too clear on what she actually did wrong, even today.

He was as bad if not worse than Scott Morrison . The judge could not possibly regard him as a truthful witness

Waiting for Penny's response to the imaginary 2 state solution having just been obliterated... Will she now finally recognise Palestine or will Australia just allow the felon & war criminal to finalise their ethnic cleansing version of a solution without a word of protest...

And somewhere today there's an air traffic controller who was doing their best in an understaffed situation and will have to cope with this tragedy for the rest of their lives ... probably without support from their employer who created the situation in the first place.
They have my sympathy 💙

This is the style of display setup I've wished for. I did a rough sketch of something similar a few months ago for my husband to build for me but... still waiting😁

Mary Poppins was also my first movie but not at a cinema, it was at the Echuca drive-in.

TINA TURNER Nutbush City Limits
I couldn't resist the urge to post a version of this classic in the wake of the death of the iconic singer Tina Turner. I had no idea that the 'Nutbush' dance was an Australian innovation! I thought it was originated by Tina herself but not so. Here are just portions of three clips I have borrowed from youtubers celebrating and performing the hit song 'Nutbush City Limits'. Just shy of 50 years ago (i know, half a century), the track by Ike & Tina Turner and written by Tina herself, was issued. It was a moderate hit in America; but only scraped into the Aussie chart in the December of 1973 peaking at #87. But for some reason 18 months later, 'Nutbush City Limits began another ascent on the Australian charts and it would peak at #27. In my memories it was a much bigger hit, but perhaps it was the sheer vocal power or the airplay it received that made me sit up and take notice. I heard nothing further from Tina Turner until 1984, as most of the world had forgotten about her, but that wouldn't ever be the case again and her comeback was of epic proportions. The death of Tina Turner this week (May 24, 2023) at the age of 83 has been another sober reminder that no-one lives forever but legends like this woman and her music will shine on and rock on until the end of time.
