East Broad Top 16, recreated as a somewhat 1:48 scale Lego model.

Made to run on 3 stud gauge Lego track, like its real life counterpart. Engine & Tender come out to 1,440 pieces and I’m using one Power functions L motor for power.

Really, really happy with the turnout.

Happy Halloween all.

Forgot I had this sneak peak I’ve been sharing around lately.

Won’t be too much longer until it’s fully done. Balancing wanting to work on it nonstop with college is tough but I’m working through it.

here’s the subject of my latest work in progress. Really close to being done, hope to have it finished within November

After further research I don’t quite know if it’s as true as the other one since there’s not really anything to back it up but the locomotive wiki does state this. Take that as you will

What’s y’all’s most infuriating could-have-been preservation story for locomotives? Mine would definitely be the Baltimore & Ohio’s EM-1 Yellowstones

1 was set aside for preservation, sent to the breaker’s by an idiot

1 was offered to a West Virginian city; they ended up rejecting it

💔💔💔

Just my luck that the soundtrack CD for this movie of all movies (which the ost is really good btw) is abhorrently expensive online

Anyways I bought a copy for 63 bucks, but it’s ok bc

1) I already made the money back so it’s like it never happened 👌
2) it usually goes for around/above 100 bucks

Was just informed it’s the old girl’s birthday today

Happy 84th to possibly my favorite thing ever made

Still hope I can see her steamed up sometime

Celebrating the 80th late but right.

Happy 80th, you life-changing trains

Sadly don’t have any motivation to start or resume anything new, but tonight I got a huge boost to rework some parts of 1118. As it stands I love about 80% of it. The firebox, cab size and trailing truck all bother me; all three will be changed.

As well as other details here and there

Happy Trans Visibility Day everyone.

I’m not too good with words but I hope each and every one of you knows that you’re loved and valued very much.

Don’t let a bunch of lifeless hacks tell you otherwise
