A student recommended I watch the documentary Most Likely to Succeed, and I briefly recalled the fact that in high school, I was, in fact, most likely to fall asleep during class.

Taught my first session of an undergrad course this week and it was a pretty surreal experience. Felt like I had been dreaming of that day for so long I didn’t ever think it would actually happen. I keep getting emails addressed as “Professor Shipko.” The reality of it all still hasn’t quite hit me.

My head is still swarming from my AERA 2025 experience. Heading home with the memories of majestic mountains, good friends, and the knowledge that Reinhard Peckrun loved my paper. Bye for now Denver ✌️
