I never had a real foundation growing up. My family was together for holidays, but we weren’t bonded. Now even those moments are gone, and it’s strange grieving something that was never whole. Maybe it’s time to admit that sometimes nothing is better than holding on to what never felt right.

Yeah, kids need to be held accountable… absolutely.
But I don’t like how fast folks jump to calling them ‘monsters.’
They’re still children.
If we label a kid hopeless at 12 or 13, where do they even go from there?
I just don’t believe tearing them down is how we help them grow.
