on this one is quite hard to see, but it would be this! it's kinda like a "half shadow" that I use to not make the shadows too harsh, purely as a transition :> I saw Budoti doing that and found it an awesome way to soften shadows, but I'm still practicing it~

The colors were partly chosen by hand, partly based on a pre-made palette for the setting, but throughout the process I kept changing the colors little by little, making them more vibrant, darker, fine-tuning until they were just the way I wanted them! +

After the lines, I tried to separate the values between the characters, but in the end they ended up looking a little different after the colors, mainly because I still don't quite understand values (for now). The important thing is that it worked out in the end+

Compared to the line art, the line weight makes a total difference in the planes, in addition to the details, such as on Kizo's arms and the little dots on the vine tentacle

Using a semi-hard airbrush, I created the silhouettes of the characters to define the composition.
I used the airbrush because I didn't want hard edges like those created by the lasso tool (which I commonly use), and it also helped to make the poses more fluid.
