Lazy morning coffee. The winter sun shining on my face. The birds chirping and the sounds of daily life from around the neighbourhood mingling. The life outside my window is beautiful!

Things have been pretty crazy in my neck of the woods. A lot of running around (all for good things), which means I’ve been falling woefully behind on sharing my art for the Art Advent Calendar.

It’s studio rejigging time. First up, these 2 babies are getting a fresh coat of paint.
I loved the vibrancy & playfulness of these (which I painted over a decade ago), until I didn’t.
I’m going for a simple chalk paint do-over on these. Wish me luck!

These kittens have been coming to our door & demanding food since about 2 months now. One of them is still suspicious of the strange beings who walk on two feet and give them their kibble. The other one tolerates pets once we’ve filled his bowl with food. #cats
