The problem for Notre Dame is every single ND defensive player that gets to the ball carrier first is missing like, 100% of the time. So, instead of a -2,-1, no gain, or 1-2 yard gain, it’s a 4-6 yard gain. That’s how you get blown out.

Tonight’s Lions/49ers game is weirdly meaningless for both teams, even with DET battling for the 1st seed. Win or lose tonight, they still have to beat MIN next week for the division and to secure the NFC’s top seed.
