Today in posting about the similarities between H*ler and Trump, I had a "friend" that I've had for 26 years decide she and her husband had enough of my posts & that they were never speaking to me again. Left that as a comment before leaving.

I'm in my 40s & I've had a revelation. My goals of buying a house, having a wedding, traveling, having a big garden, a successful career are impossible now. I've struggled my entire adult life and none of my goals see close to being realized without winning the lotto. In tired of trying & failing.

Eggs are officially a special occasion food now.
I thought Save-a-lot Stalin was going to lower the price of eggs. Guess renaming the Gulf of Mexico and attending half the Super Bowl took priority. Large eggs were the same price as the Jumbo btw

I swear, it's like the universe knows when I'm happy and then kicks me down a few pegs. Had my insurance cancelled today. I make $20 too much per month. Apparently, it was cancelled 10 days ago. Employer doesn't provide insurance and I take heart meds. Looking for a new job and no luck.

For Christmas, I wish for a new job. One that isn't hostile, where my boss actually is concerned when I have an allergic reaction to the plants he brought in. Where I don't get screamed at in front of customers because he didn't fully read text messages.

Seeing post after post and comment after comment about United Healthcare's CEO... I don't condone violence but I get it. People can't afford treatments. People are dying because meds are beyond reasonable prices. Capitalism creates corruption. We need to be socialized. We need to be a healthy USA.

Excuse me, Aliens, I was promised a sky war. Perhaps with a side of day off. I wasn't expecting a JJ Abrams level event. I'd accept a Bad Amazon Movie or Bad SyFy movie level event. I just need a day off.... I don't get PTO so pay isn't required.
