The artsyle and character stuff hit a sweet spot between Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat for me. Totally agreed with the Soundtrack it even holds up after Gordan leaves.

Really enjoying the new Jump series that have started in the past few months. Ichi the Witch, Hero Organization, Shinobi Undercover, and Insect Girl have all had really strong debuts.

We are in the thick of alot of 30th anniversaries. In an era where it's hard to see jump between new hardware it's fascinating too look back at the tail end of the 16-bit and Dawn of the 32-bit and how big the gap must have looked to gamers at the time

After about a year continuing my Yakuza playthrough with Yakuza 4. How I have missed this series. Interesting companion coming off of Mafia 1. Spent around 4-5 hours last night doing the fist two chapters and just immersing myself back into Kamurochō. Spending about 30 minutes in an arcade.

I just don't understand how having Ridley on stage and going Rey is back and is the first movie in our renewed focus on film it's had so much dev hell. Feels like their deathly afraid of messing up NJO coupled with the general lack of confidence it feels they've had on the filmside since TLJ

Good week for games that are super my bag and generally a continuation of a really strong month of games. I tried and really enjoyed the demo of Card En Ciel and it seems like it's around what I expect from Inti Creates. Blumhouse games is off to a strong start and The year of Shadow is here.

DC Absolute looks refreshing but my one big critique is that it feels like Flash/Green Lantern should be wholly new characters instead of being the same as some of the Earth Prime folks. Going from the Golden to Silver Age Flash/GL were brand new and I feel they should have taken that approach here

It really feels feels like Superhero or I guess more IP driven Comics are back. Generally most of the books being put out are good but the Ultimate, Absolute, and Enegeron Universes being new starting points free of most baggage has had the same effect the high republic had on my star wars enjoyment

This game hit me at the right moment where I was getting into Mech space opera stuff, and obsessed with my GBA and had just started digging into Fire Emblem.

It must have been someone at Konami who liked the genre, as Onimusha also had tactics GBA spin off I also owned.
