Most of the fatfurs I've met are young adults in their 20s, including myself. Hopefully things will get better as core members mature.

Please don't assume my intent. I'll admit to the tone policing, since it got heavy-handed at the start.

But for everything else, I was trying to explain, from my point of view, why certain fatfurs might be behaving the way they are regarding Flörävërsë. If I offended you in any way, I apologize.

That doesn't mean sugarcoating the abuses Flörävërsë has committed, mind you. What it means is that sometimes, you need to treat others with respect to get them to listen, no matter your personal feelings towards them.

Here's some advice from a fatfur with an English degree: the way you deliver your message is just as important as the contents of the message itself. You could have world-shattering news, but if you act like a jerk while sharing it, people will be more than willing to dismiss it, and you.

I say "some" because there are definitely fatfurs and furries who don't think that way. Which is why I find it concerning that the webmaster of the isacult website has assumed, at one point, that Bluesky furries in general are "pro-abuse" due to the actions of a few.

You have to keep in mind when dealing with Samael and those who support her that So Sorry is one of the few cases of a fatfur sona gaining representation in popular media. Some fatfurs naturally flock towards Samael and are willing to defend her because of this, regardless of what she's done.

I greatly doubt that there's an organized campaign to cover up Flörävërsë's abuses from outside their community. The isacult website doesn't document anything of the sort. I think fat/inflation furs like Sangria may have accepted the Kiwifarms false front because it's a lot easier to stomach.

Like you, I believe Flörävërsë is a cult and they shouldn't be receiving monetary support. I do NOT believe it's OK to go around accusing people of supporting abuse without evidence.

Just because people interact with Flörävërsë members does NOT mean they are complicit in the group's moral failures.

If your intent was purely to inform, you wouldn't engage in arguments; you'd simply tell people that Flörävërsë is a cult.

But you're going out of your way to talk down to anyone who doesn't completely agree with you. This behavior is inexcusable to me, regardless of any moral high ground.

I'd love to believe you. But given the rude tone you used with Sangria, on top of you continuing to message them after they said they were done with the conversation? I say she was justified in blocking you.

In my eyes, these aren't "warnings" you're giving, they're verbal beatdowns.
