They do appear to have a 'link rel="alternate"' tag in the header so scraping could work in this instance. But for simplicity I think we'll just link to the page and use the subdomain as the "author" for now. I'll noddle on this...

Hmm more to think about, a direct link to @leaflet.pub, shindakun.leaflet.pub/3m4e526ir4s2t only contains the record key and part of my handle, not enough for an easy lookup. Seems like we're getting into the territory of fetching pages and scraping - it can be done but should it lol.
Testing leaflet.pub - shindakun
Just some testing.

I could never hope to keep the speed of a local filesystem after all I can't even fetch more then 100 records in a repo at once using com.atproto.repo.listRecords. So I'd say Obsidian isn't really the benchmark. Neither is something like Notion they've got a full database to work from.

You ask the impossible!!! Lol, I suppose that could work too, can just determine the rich text rendering based on the lexicon name or just render as a link if it's not something that's known. However, the current system allows for searching by platform not everyone knows what a at: URI is after all.

OK, it's a bit cumbersome but it's possible to link records. Will need to think about a UX random records. But popular services could have embeds in note view and others could just be a link to that record via @pdsls.dev I suppose. Lots to still figure out.

Any features it *has* to have other than bidirectional linking, a graph view, and tagging?

Been considering doing the same but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Frameworks are pricey lol 💰 overall Linux is good unless you play since stuff that has anti cheat code in it.

It seems alright but I bounced off it personally, had some friends who really dug it.

Seems like each time I come up with something I want to work on the domain that would fit that project costs more then the last thing I worked on lol.

Was looking for Dark Castle v8.5 from BBSfiles.org is this a standalone version? Cool if so!

Once installed though it seems to be OK, I did notice some inputs seem to be missing, like entering your character name. Not sure I could resolve that probably a quirk with reading data from dosbox.
