Lately, I’ve been obsessed with EMPATHY. I used to believe you either had it or didn’t. It’s true (from research) that women tend to have more empathy than men, liberals have more than conservative, etc.

But it’s more complex than that. Using moments from my life..

Last month I assisted on my first Habitat for Humanity home build. I installed insulation—imperfectly.

& I think that’s OK. We don’t have to be perfect at everything we do.

I was satisfied to realize that even if my contribution wasn’t perfect, a future homeowner will have a less drafty MN winter.
