No that's a good tip thank you!! Digital art helps a little bit with spontaneity because I'm not so afraid to "ruin" sth I worked so long on, but the creativity block is still there. And I've been trying to do more traditional art. I just have to keep trying, I know I can break through eventually! ❤️

Yeah I try to doodle for myself but the problem is more the mental block 😭 like even when it's not for posting, the subconscious pressure keeps me from doing anything. I'll just stare at a blank page for 45 mins bc making art feels hard, but it should just be fun 😭 I'm trying to find the fun again 🥺

I think so too! My health insurance is complicated but I've been trying to figure it out so I can get back on my depression meds 🙃 lmao. That might help. But yeah I wanna loosen up and not be so afraid to make mistakes. I keep stressing myself out so art is tiring rather than fun like it should be 😭

I've been wanting to get back into drawing for years and it seems like no matter how hard I try the feeling just isn't there, even though I desperately want it to be. I watch tons of art videos and save inspo and get so excited to draw, just to end up sitting there staring at my paper like...

And on the weekends there's always plans and shit happening, and I need to do chores and other adulting or my mental state is destroyed. Is it depression? Is that why I can't draw? When I do make a bit of time for it, I just stare at my sketchbook and can't remember anything I even wanted to draw.
