I have a bunch of these as well. When I was a kid, I bought almost an entire box of them from K.B. Toys because they didn't sell and they had them on clearance. The rest of them are loose somewhere in my parents' house lol

Just finished painting a #Zoid that I built last summer. Tried out my new Citadel Colour paints on it and really liked the results. But I did have to glue one of his shoulders back on, so he needs to dry for 24 hours before I can pose him.

Got some practice today.
It looks a little more customized than the basic model. It's hard to capture the details on camera. The soft parts were difficult, so I left those alone. I did try enamel paint for adding some rusty areas and shadows, which was fun.

Learning from my mistakes as I go with this acrylic paint. Adding Testors Rust enamel to the parts I had to sand down after messing up that clear varnish. I think it looks kinda neat. I'm getting the technique down as I go. The pauldron turned out smooth. Going for a satin/matte instead of gloss.
