It was always likely that Trump woud bomb Iran: he was accused of being weak and indecisive, and he couldn't possibly allow that! As it is, he has brilliantly achieved his number one goal, which always is to dominate the world's new headlines.

A classic Shrewsbury view: St Chad's church above the Quarry park: built by George Steuart at the end of the 18th century. It is unusual in having a circular nave.

Trump is clearly jealous of Putin's ability to stage great parades of military hardware. Meanwhile the contrast with the harmless colourful pageantry of Britain's "Trooping the colour" could hardly be more stark!
