If reform is Zahawi's 'next gravy train' what was the previous one?

And I mean even then the article is only really saying whether or not Trump himself is fascist but I mean what really matters is whether Trump's administration is fascist.

I feel like this article just doesn't make sense? The article says that Trump meets a lot of the characteristics for Ur-Fascism but then argued he isn't fascist because Trump isn't the same as Hitler. This is after emphasizing Nazism is only one type of fascism earlier in the same article?

Of course the idea in the article that you would recruit racists to your movement is wild. A surefire way to prevent racial minorities from working with you! Build a movement based on racial justiceand sleep sound knowing your future utopia will work towards reforming racists and ending racism!

But we don't live in that world and we have to use the tools we have - because you have no idea who else they are harming and those people deserve to walk the streets safely and participate in society without experiencing hate/discrimination.

Like in an ideal world, good social infrastructure would exist in the justice system to help reform people with hateful views and there would be a strong safety net to prevent dire financial consequences for people fired for hate/discrimination

I did report a (much milder) homophobic incident to an employer this year and I did weirdly feel a bit bad - any consequences will have hardened their views if anything. But I think the correct take has to be 'I can't choose to tolerate this on behalf of other people/minorities they may be harming'.
