For reference, I've been using arch for like 5 years now, only really gets borked enough once every two years-ish... Or getting new hardware.

For reference, I've been using arch for like 5 years now, only really gets borked enough once every two years-ish... Or getting new hardware.
My 10 month un-updated arch install is running on fumes of fumes and so much stuff is borked, but microshaft will not get my soul back. I think I'm just used to living with the few recurring bits of jank. Also (IMO) hobbyist dev is much easier on Linux, not talking about release software though.
