i havent played genshin in awhile bc i didnt keep up w news and genuinely thought schneznaya came out this year and despite the fact theyre giving us characters and stories we've been waiting for, the lack of schneznaya killed it for me temporarily 😅😭

most likely bc in a linear game ur environment is made for ur one grand adventure whereas in open world games they gives u MANY more things to do that distract u from ur main adventure, splitting it up
Is there a word for how linear video games often feel like bigger, grander adventures than their sprawling, open-world counterparts
