For anyone who has traveled through Denver International Airport, you may have noticed a creepy blue horse sculpture on display nearby. Locals call him “Blucifer” and today is his birthday. Here is a full picture and a close up of him “smiling”. Enjoy!

We purchased this hibiscus bush at King Soopers (local grocery store chain) years ago. Each summer it lives outside in a pot and then we winter it over inside. Still blooms in both places. Something lovely about it blooming now. Things can be resilient in changing climates even when it is darker.
