The biggest thing it me is it hitting that I didn’t just survive the things I thought I couldn’t- I lived. From relearning to walk twice and complications of chronic pain, to being a NREMT and graduating with a BSN. To holding TWO science degrees now + a certificate in health sciences. I did that 🥹

The fact I graduated nursing school still hasn’t really set in. Something I have dreamed off for so long coming true is surreal. Soon I’ll test boards and tomorrow I shadow a unit I got a job offer on!

yesterday I graduated nursing school. As someone with chronic illnesses this was beyond hard and life been working towards this since 2018. So many times I wanted to give up. Even more I was told I wouldn’t make it. But I refused to listen. I knew in my heart I was meant to become a nurse.

Back in November a patient nominated me for a daisy, and today I received that pin. This was such a special patient interaction for me especially because I was dealing with a lot in my own life and still managed to make someone else feel comforted in their own low. I unfortunately wasn’t recognized
