And she’s misrepresenting the “waste” last year. The cost of the vaccines would have been the same had they gone into arms instead of the trash. They threw out so much because they refused to promote it.

Yesterday drove 90 minutes outside YYC to get a C19 shot for my daughter, b/c no appts avail in YYC. PH nurse said they can’t meet the local demand b/c they’ve been given no more staff or funding for more hours, and the pharmacies aren’t giving it.

Was he a lying grifter then? Or is he a lying grifter now? Because I don’t see how the same guy could do that job and still be such a colossal asshole now.

To be fair (!) we could have had appointments closer to Calgary. But given the hours of the PH clinics, we’d have had to take time off work to do so. We took the appointments closest to home that fit our schedules.

Can confirm. Booked vaccines appointments for our family last weekend. Having to drive to Innisfail and Drumheller (from YYC) for them - zero appointments in Calgary.

I’ve lived my entire life in AB, never worked in HC, but the lack of LTC capacity, and the impact on acute care, has been an issue as long as I can remember - since Getty was premier, if not Lougheed. Demographics mean it will only get worse.

A reminder that you won’t even hear from the police unless charges are laid, which requires enough evidence of a crime to convince a Crown it’s likely to succeed in court.
