Oh that's clever! They found a workaround in the end. To be honest, It's pretty cool that you guys get to call it in dalish because of this

Noo that's so confusing! I can only imagine what it was like for spanish speakers when Solas explains everything to the Inquisitor in Trespasser. "The Velo and the material world were one. Then i cast the Velo" lmao

Yes! They have surprisingly kept very close to the original meaning. Things like Dark spawn as been translated into "Prole oscura" which is like progeny/offspring of the darkness. Another is the blight which is "flagello" as in plague. Damn, did it ever get an update or correction later in spanish?

The veil was kept the same. Velo is the literal translation and has basically the same meaning and uses

In italian the Fade was translated into "Oblio" which means oblivion and is connected to both forgetfulness/used to imply falling asleep as a condition inducing forgetfulness. I also wonder if the Lete/Lethe's river (river of oblivion/fiume dell'oblio) had a role in influencing the name

We all secretly (some more openly) have a crush on Varric, that's just how it is

Yes, I did write these myself and yes it was pretty hard. It was fun though, I hope it's legible

The fact that indie creators have managed just fine without generative AI for decades. It's just an excuse to mask the fact that, in reality, they dgaf about their project nor see art as something valuable. Not worth anyone's time

very dangerous, plus the fact that it was Blackwall to set everything in motion (with the treaties in hand while impersonating a GW) is even more alarming

I love how diverse they are in shapes and colors. It makes them instantly recognizable and unique

God, i feel you soo much about art taking so much of your time you end up having to marathon your other interests
January 12, 2026 at 11:41 PM
Aww i know exactly how that feels. I've had both shoulders hurting like that because of a condition and muscle tension from posture. A whole month with such pain is pretty tough, hope you're able to sleep well at least, that was the most annoying part for me. Get well soon!

This character lore comes from me being indecisive with what hair color to give her when initially playing DA2. I remember thinking she didn't look right blonde when her whole family had pitch black hair so i changed them. As silly as it is, this gave me the idea.

Kept it that way for several years until the last events in Kirkwall, when she finally made peace with her past returning to her natural color. Leila wore her true self during the Meredith battle and beyond. Her signature look is perpetually messy bangs.

Upon arriving in Kirkwall, after escaping the blight and having lost her sister in the process, she was devastated and blamed herself for it. Due to self-hatred, longing for tranquility and her desire to never forget the image of her sister, she dyed her hair black after becoming a mercenary.

Same. A "sip" of coke at 9 pm keeps me hype way past 3 am, i've never tried straight up coffee and something tells me i shouldn't

Thank you!

That's one of the coolest and most creative things i've ever seen! They looks so detailed too, and the dagger?? Maybe i should do this too
