I posted this on the dull men's club site, it caused a lot of dull excitement. This is a little Japanese Zero with a prop I cut on my laser cutter. It is made from clear plastic packaging from something I bought down the street. Thanks to uncle Bub who showed me the same thing when I was 12 (I'm 70)

I am wary of these birds. Keep really still while they are walking through my camp site. I don't want to upset them.

I'm restoring a 50 year old Sanyo CTP 7609. Re-capped the lot but put a 65v cap on a 120v line.
It's main problem was video 'tearing' and no sync pulse. This was caused by black corrosion on the VIF IC pins. Filed that stuff off and now good as new.

Finally the files have been released.
My granddaughter travelled all the way to the USA from Australia to attend a NASA space camp. So proud, she is following the family tradition of getting out there and doing stuff.

Amazing, our little bush oasis back yard in South East Australia suburbia, has attracted a regular visitor, a female Saturn bower bird! Our neighbours have mostly European-based ecological deserts. So all of those years constructing the back yard paid off!
