My concern with the h1b stuff is how he frames it as favoring skilled immigrant labor over domestic labor. There are certainly valid criticisms of the system and how we can make it better, and I'd be interested to see some of his more in depth criticisms. I just don't like how it's presented.

I really appreciate your answer. I think there are plenty of valid reasons to disagree with his actual policy positions, but I understand your point about people having a reactionary stance against him. I do believe some of his positions are at odds with voters and not just the reactionary ick.

Ok, sure! Whether or not you agree with his policy positions, do you think there was no reason for voters to be wary of his populist rhetoric? E.g. the above tweet/his isolationist leanings?
