One girl looks over a rail. The other runs towards her. Rosie: "Em, it's so close!" The landmass rises, but grinds against another. The one they're on. It sends the girl by the rail over the edge. Emelia: "Rosie!?" the girl still on the landmass is shaking, "Rosie!!" "They were called 'Skyfallers'". A group of mourning family members huddle close. An older girl buttons her vest, and grabs her goggles. "But I won't be falling." Emelia is a teen now. "I'll be flying" she puts on the goggles.

My 5-page comic, Skyfallers.

The first version I created was in 2016, in copic markers. But I revamped it in 2022 using digital copics (kolormarc brushes in procreate) and gave it a glow-up.
