Federal funding for #Medicaid (Medi-Cal in California) is projected to make up nearly *two-thirds* of all federal funds that will flow through the #CABudget in 2025-26 — barring deep federal spending cuts.

In California, Medi-Cal (our state's #Medicaid program) receives nearly two-thirds of all federal funds that flow through the state budget. With deep federal funding cuts, state policymakers would face incredibly tough decisions on how to address funding gaps while preserving critical services.

Anyone know if this Gavin Newsom Bluesky page is legit? There have only been two posts (both in 2023), even as other folks are rushing in and getting established over here. I've noticed that he's still very active on X (Twitter), though.
