I'm not my ancestors. Some of my ancestors were evil. I won't take credit for what they did right and reject any blame for their evil. You're not your ancestors. Some of them may have been godly. Some of them may have been victims. You're not them.
The person may be using the word relatively.

If the average summer temperature is above 95 then 85 might be considered milder than normal. If the average Winter temperature is below freezing then the mid 40s may be considered milder.

A break in chronic severe weather might be considered a "balm".

It is my view that a punctuation should only be inside the quotation marks when the source material contains that same punctuation. If the source material did not include it, then it should be placed outside the quotation marks.

I don't care what style conventions are in this matter.

Cohesion implies a unity which adhesion does not.

If a label is glued to another surface that is adhesion.

If a single substance clings together and resists efforts to separate that is cohesion.

People may be united and yet not have unity. That is not cohesion. (Example: USA)

Did you mean "next to last game" because that is what the phrase "penultimate game" means?

If you meant "final game" you should have used the word "ultimate".

Stalin was from 1924-1953.

The fact that they have official codifications of what they believe demonstrates that they do not believe the Bible to be all-sufficient. First century Christians relied on the scriptures and on the doctrines revealed thru apostles and prophets during the first century not on Creeds and Catechisms.

Inspiration is "defined" by 2 Peter 1:20-21.

The word translated "interpretation" is NOT referring to the one who reads but rather to the original writers.
They did not write down their interpretations of revelation.

They were chosen because of their willingness to allow God to speak through them.

Although I expect that my view of inspiration differs from yours, I do believe that God used the personalities and the cultures of those with whom He worked.

Amos, Hosea, Micah, and Isaiah were contemporaries.

All the original apostles had grown up in a limited region but Paul in a Roman colony.

First, I am not upset.

Second, maybe you did not mean to imply that there are only two worlds when you wrote "There are two worlds within Christianity".

You also wrote "there's basically no way to have bridge that divide."

I believe that men wrote what God told them to write. 2 Peter 1:20-21

"huge chunk of Christians" is a petitio principii.

Not everyone who claims to be a Christian resembles the commended Christians of the first century.

I believe that corruption develops in every human because of the deceitfulness of our cravings. Ephesians 4:22

I believe that all babies are born innocent of guilt but that we all become motivated by our desires and our ego before we are old enough to reason objectively. 1 John 2:16

It is likely possible that there are some religious groups who fit your 2nd description but if you mean it to apply to all who believe that the scriptures are of divine origin that is a gross misrepresentation.

Historical, Chronological, and Circumstantial context are all vital to understanding.
March 29, 2025 at 8:02 PM
There are churches which teach that God does not communicate with us in that manner today on ANY subject.

Homogenizing all religious groups is just as bad as homogenizing individuals who are descended from the same country, culture, or lineage.

My late wife was from Wisconsin. We discovered that pronouncing some of the names of Wisconsin cities attracted the attention of our dog. Waukegon, Waukesha, and Milwaukee are some examples.

Any religion which is false does more harm than good.

If God does not exist then any religion which claims God exists is false.

If God exists then only that which God approves is true.

Neither my belief nor my desire changes reality.

I believe Jesus is the Anointed, the Son of the living God.

Many churches are scams that does not mean that all are scams.

Many churches teach false doctrine that does not mean that all churches teach false doctrine.

Many who claim to be Christians live lives which are immoral that does not mean that all who seek to be Christians are doing so.

In the beginning of 1 Corinthians beginning with 1:17 and continuing into chapter 3, Paul discusses the incompatibility of knowledge which is not dependent on revelation and the knowledge which can only be learned from revelation.

The difficulty you referenced is due to men trying to fuse these two

Even though it took longer, I used to use FW for converting PSDs instead of using Adobe's Image Ready because the jpgs were smaller file sizes when exported by FW.
March 27, 2025 at 12:42 AM
One of the main reasons FW fizzled under Adobe was they focused on a least important feature.

They focused on FW's ability to slice an image and create html code for reassembling. The code was NOT clean.

FW shined at editing and exporting Jpgs. Multiple areas of quality of export.

Anyone who expects to be "rewarded" in this life is seeking the wrong kind of reward.

Jesus said, "Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward" three times in Matthew 6.

He was not suggesting that this was a good thing.
