After all, she is a psychic creature. So, she ends up in peoples heads.

Which is why, sometimes, she likes to stretch her wings.

Spreading herself out a little. But it can be dangerous for some individuals if not unpleasant.

Imagine being shoved into a box that is the shape of you.

Now make that box a little smaller. You can still fit, but it's hard to breathe.

It's like that.

Her consciousness.

It's hard being crammed into the finite head of a body.
