My mother would dress me & and my sister in identical outfits (18 month age gap). She had made most of the clothes 😱. We absolutely hated it!! We went to different schools when we were 8/9 so the excruciating embarrassment was confined to weekends and holidays !!
She was also a v controlling woman!

Yep - I don’t want be skinny! But I was pre diabetic and that was enough for me to take action, having tried so many “diets” in the past, the jab was worth a try.
So motive is also a big issue . Mine was very much motivated by health issues.

I don’t expect anyone to congratulate me !Just wanted to give a view from a user POV.
big pharma are invested in maintaining a lot of our problems -
Just like the food and marketing industries
I don’t have the answer about how we tackle the root problem (which I agree with you btw)
August 6, 2025 at 9:54 AM
I agree that the root cause should be dealt with. It’s a huge problem to tackle and so many people/organisations have a stake in it! In the meantime the jab will be a great solution for some - but create more problems for others .
August 6, 2025 at 9:37 AM
Very difficult! The information is out there , but we know a lot will ignore it!
August 6, 2025 at 9:24 AM
Only time will tell on this issue ! But for me it’s a very positive experience. 🤞let’s hope it continues to be !
August 6, 2025 at 9:14 AM
Let’s hope a lot of users are sensible (!). For my part, I am now out of range for diabetes and my blood pressure is much lower, and I am able to be far more active , so providing I am sensible in the future - I am saving NHS money.
But I agree that for some it will not be the case.
August 6, 2025 at 9:06 AM
The private providers are very good with guidance on line . But I think it is also the users responsibility to research and inform themselves. And that is the problem - some see it as an easy quick fix. It’s not ! There will be a lot of people who just revert to their old ways .
August 6, 2025 at 8:57 AM
I’m on the jabs and I have completely changed my eating habits- obviously I’m eating a lot less , but also WHAT I eat has radically changed . The jabs have been the tool to do this. Not kidding myself- it’s going to be hard work when I come off the jab and my appetite comes back!
