Watched this gorgeous lady lay eggs in front of me while I moved small caterpillars away from larger ones. Pretty amazing she is part of the reason fruit is so delicious right now. Not pictured: the drive-by she also did right across my eye brows. 🐛🦋☀️🌎

Caterpillar update: getting down to bare bones for two of the plants. Once those 10-12 large caterpillars become chrysalises, I will change out the plants (4 additional milkweed plants outside of the net) for the remaining and new caterpillars.

Update on the caterpillars: About 10 are close to being ready to become chrysalises. 🐛🦋

Decided I’m going to focus on something that brings me joy: milkweed plants, tiny eggs, caterpillars, and their metamorphosis into monarch butterflies. 🐛🦋🧡

In my defense, who can read the date released on THIS?! Like ma’am. No. Full stop.
