🧦 🧶 Granddaughter Lena Sequoia Socks KP Stroll Tweed. Slow work as yarn tends to be splitting so have to catch each stitch carefully. Otherwise is a great economical merino/nylon yarn for socks that is soft and cozy warm.

Originally Grandson wanted maroon socks with a couple of blue stripes in the cuff. However waiting to hear from Andrew if he wants maroon with gold stripes instead. Blue & maroon are BFL from boutiquelesgarcons.com, gold is merino Malibrigo Ultimate Socks.

When you have 5-6 knit socks projects on the needles and brain is also thinking about 4 more sock projects, a cardigan and a scarf too. Is this a symptom of Wooly OCD? Crazy 🤪

🧦 🧶 Ready to do heel. I usually do an eye of partridge heel with the knit stitches knit through the back loop for added texture. But thinking about doing a shadow wrap heel instead. Out of 30 types of heels I prefer these 2 as I have narrow heels.

🧦🧶 Vanilla vs. cables, texture, lace, etc. I spend 2-3 days testing stitch pattern ideas. End up choosing vanilla as seems to look aesthetically better than a cable, texture seems to adds no zing! nor enhance the yarn.

Socks 🧦 yarn 🧶 Finished WYS Signature in Owl and Poppy Seed for contrast. Vanilla with Eye of Partridge heel. Have done a few socks with WYS which I find yarn to be a bit sticky requiring to go back almost each round to snug up stitches. 🧐😟
