Here it is. When the vendor delivered it, incidentally, he damaged it again. I didn’t see it until after he was gone, and I was pretty pissed.
But, looking at all the scars and cracks, I felt compassion for Bonheur. I think her bruises are a fitting metaphor for the writer‘s life. #booksky

I moved into a Paris apartment that had *gasp* no desk, so I’ve been writing at the dining table. Yesterday, I found my dream desk at a flea market. I’ve cleaned and polished it and I’ll now dedicate it to goddesses of writing, poetry, and creativity: Brigit, Calliope, Mnemosyne, Seshat.
