Found a free cabinet on the side of the road, have upgraded it into a kids and hobbies section for the little free library! Purple and white are the local school district colors, plus it makes it stand out well.

Loki passing did have me thinking about how she always needed water on our walks in summer, so I figured we'd remember her by making sure other dogs had water available. Granted, the walkers need to provide the water for their dogs, but it's better than nothing. Harley approved of it.

Well, not surprising me, the doorframe on the LFL turned out to be something other than wood. So when someone didn't shut the door, it snapped off in a gust of wind! So took the books out briefly, figured out a new door, and within a couple days, got it hung and restocked!

So someone put a copy of Harry Potter in my Little Free Library, which they must be unaware that the TARDIS means I fall on the Tennant side of Tennant vs JKR. No TERFs allowed in my LFL, so I hiked up to the LFL near the church and traded it for a 'Stories of King Arthur' and we're both happy now.

Got a nice donation of books in my TARDIS, from Mote in God's eye to the right on top, and Roswell Nexus right on the bottom. Nice little donation here at Charter #206672

This has been a little bit of a learning process for ol' Kyle-Bot. Plywood wasn't the best choice for the top, torential ran made it bulge and such. I got it replaced with solid lumber. Also put a sheet of Aluminum over it, so we're good again. Still weatherproof inside, Charter #206672

Put a little pad of paving stones to step on far enough away from the curb so we don't hit them in the winter and biff our shovels or snow throwers. Also for the inside we have a cookie tray to keep the books up out of any water that could leak inside now, just in case.

My poor Loki, the shorter dog in the previous pic, got sick and distracted me from posting, but I got the library hung up before that. I got the books in, and in the process got a neighbor interested and the next day got thanked for putting it in.

This is a POST POST. Monday, the last relatively mild day here, I dug a hole for the Little Free Library! It's narrow but 3 feet deep to get below the frost line, thus the cart of dirt. Harley and Loki inspected the installation and gave it a thumbs up afterwards, so we're getting close to ready!

We're official! Going up soon, we have the sealed and signed Little Free Library, faked out some windows on her and got the Book Box sign hung. Didn't want to put Police Box incase someone needed the police.

Update on the TARDIS Book Box, I put an inner frame around the door to help weather proofing, and added the latch and glass to it!

Here's the latest update on the Book Box! I got paint on the TARDIS. It's Ink Blue from Rustoleum that should help give it some weatherproofing. I'll add some weather stripping around the door.

Realized my TARDIS needed the little box over the sign section so used some spare lumber to make it. Also got the shelf cut for the inside.

More progress over the weekend, got the rain shield installed, tacked in. It was probably excessive, but worth a shot. Also got the door attached, but it might come off again to do some weather stripping.

Have been working on my Little Free Library a lot this weekend! Got a shade printed for the lantern on top, got a couple books (Granted, Secret Origins does have the movie tie-in cover) and some bits chopped for it.

Minor parts update! We have the door to the Little Free Library, some bits, hinges, handle, latch, and paint, another book, and a light for the top!

Documenting my process on my Little Free Library, the Sherry Dr Book Box! Found out some classic books are opposed by the Mothers for Liberty, so has made it easy to get a bunch of stories.
