I am encouraged by the number of people in “blood red” southwest Missouri who are stepping out to resist. Rallies, town halls (sans Republican elected officials, of course),organizing, and candidates getting a head start on the next election are all reassuring.

I am heartsick over the way Trump and Vance treated President Zelensky yesterday. They thought they were humiliating him, but humiliated the U.S. instead. It was a banner day for Putin and, as others are stating, a day of infamy for the U.S.

As China continues to give money and projects to countries to gain influence, we are shutting down our agencies that do that.
