Maybe it’s the technically accurate term. But everyone keeps saying ‘intercepted’. Feels watered down, like this is a football match. I feel like there are stronger words to describe the illegal acts happening here.

idk if this makes me the wokler but when a video does a bit by looking up someone’s name to pronounce it, i wonder why they couldn’t have done that behind the scenes, learned, and said the word correctly. This bit makes me groan for normal words and makes me go hmmm when it’s someone’s name.

since he’s gone and written a second one I finally started Jacob Gellers first book today.
It’s amazing! Getting me nostalgic for when I watched his essays for the first time.

At this point I’d take a cult of personality grifter that at least has respect for human life. A conniving leader who tricks vulnerable groups into… working together to make the world better?
Would it be hard to monetize that? Without supplements or a base of hateful supporters can you not profit??

I know that the point is to learn, and to grow, and to develop. But I seemingly never will. So can the next Balatro update just include an option so that when it’s The Mouth you get a mf’in push notification reading “you are currently playing against The Mouth”.

I could have told you the remakes coming out this summer would be hot garbage, pretty apparent from the trailers, but noooo go spend money so you can find out for yourself and the company can make more hot garbage…

I keep seeing smart people say how bad modern / brutalist architecture is, and maybe they’re right but as someone who grew up on Source games, there’s just something about em.
I guess if everything was ONLY that it would suck… but sometimes big concrete cube just looks cool, ok???
