Without downloading anything, where are you mentally right now?

Wow -- was this a preventative-type check-up? Our pet insurance won't cover anything preventative (like yearly exams), which has been really annoying.

(I would still recommend pet insurance though! It's saved our little guy's life more than once)

Dog tax:

Oh, I keep forgetting to share this with you — my local library declared your book “A Sorceress Comes to Call” one of their Best Books of 2024!
A handmade award with three layers. The back layer is a blue five-pointed star with rounded corners, and handwritten “Book Page Best Books 2024”. On top of that is a yellow medal-with-ribbon shape, with the category “Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror” written on it. On top of the medal’s circle, there is a small replica of the book cover for “A Sorceress Comes to Call” by T. Kingfisher.
