Me too, and sighthounds generally. This fella was adopted 3 months ago, so still adjusting - it's a different life than what he's been accustomed to. I think he likes it.

All our dogs have been rescues - we tried to get a senior after our last old fella passed, but they were being adopted quickly! So we ended up with this young goofball, who's never really had a life outside kennels or shelters. It's a work in progress - we love him. He's very silly, and very cute.

Maybe you just need some recovery space? Nap, eat something you like, have an early night. I've learned to listen when my brain and body give me the nope signal. Check in again tomorrow. Be like Beau.
