National Freedom Day celebrates freedom from slavery. It also recognizes that America is a symbol of liberty, which is surely being tested right now. On 2/1/1865 Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation at a joint House/Senate resolution, later becoming the 13th Amnd to the Constitution.

Then, they connected everyone to local neighborhood groups so they can work together to protect their neighbors. We’re going to win.
