So you need to quickly accept and move past a pretty massive filmmaking conceit to enjoy NICKEL BOYS, but once you do, it’s a stunning, brilliant movie. The director has the confidence of a seasoned veteran. Sure fire Best Picture nom. Highest recommendation.

BLACK DOVES- not as down in the muck or witty as SLOW HORSES as far as British spy shows, but stylish, fun, and great action scenes and a lot of obvious inspiration from Shane Black movies, especially the Christmas setting. Watch now during the holiday season.
