This reflects my experience of the rise of ableism stigma in general. We made a hard turn from Protect the Vulnerable, to “maybe the v. should have separate lives”, then to “v. people would prolly die anyway”, to now “v. people are an obstacle to evolution”. Right down the eugenics rabbit hole.
