It was the slow motion “noooooooo” coming out of my mouth that caught my FIL’s attention. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when he innocently asked “oh, is that not supposed to happen?”. (Bc yes, the point is to keep a bare carcass and gnarly looking veg 😂)

I simmered my turkey carcass/veggies in my stockpot for hours. Was showing my FIL how I make it and dumped it into the colander with a grand flourish.

The colander that had no pot underneath. All that beautiful stock straight down the drain. 🤦‍♀️

Such a great movie - gives you all the feels! Also love that it was shot/takes place in Ontario - 2 hrs from my house. That makes me Aubrey Plaza practically besties, right? 😍😂 a must see!
