I’m torn about boycotting Etsy. On one hand it would hurt the good independent shops. Lots of amazing and unique items! On the other hand, I think Etsy (platform) takes advantage of shop owners with all the fees and degrades/devalues their artistry & items by allowing mass produced junk to be sold.

Very true. I’ve talked with many people like this. It’s sad and scary that people don’t take a vested interest in issues directly affecting them. Consistently vote party over policy no matter how harmful. Some arguments they’ve had are mind blowing from the ignorance to blatant misdirected hatred.
