I’ve always adored alpacas! So cute and fluffy! Before I start a new illustration, I collect reference images on Pinterest and then fill up a few sketchbook pages while looking at my board. More alpacas to come!

Playing around with a new character. Character design usually begins with reference images and my sketchbook. I love this part of the process because it’s simply an exploration of lines on the page (mostly) free from my inner critique and decisions about what’s working.
