Black lives still matter
Brb forgetting everything else about #thegirlfriend and building a whole world in my head around this scene (and the fantastic soundtrack).

Our Boomer parents: Just go to college and work hard and you'll be financially fine.

What "work hard" actually meant:

Everything I've done in the last few years is all for this. Cozy cats and cult books on the porch. Thanks @grandcentralpub.bsky.social for feeding my fascination!

Bookmail makes me happy in this boring dystopian wasteland. So do skeleton kittens.

Only breathing out of one nostril makes me want to crawl completely out of my skin, but at least the 'tism tent is cozy.

Silver linings of being awake all night with the crud include cat snuggles and finishing this delightful audiobook. Can't wait for it to be out in the world. Thanks, @macmillanaudio.bsky.social for making my sickness more tolerable. 😂

I'm surprised, actually. "Dark" is usually the winner, but maybe I'm getting too much of that in real life so far this year.

Audiobook nerds, what are some of your, "The narrator made me choose it" books? Harriet Walter made me do this.

Experimented with a...book plush? Book pillow? Fabric book?
It only has a little filling but could stuff it more. Dietrich approves.

New library card, who dis? First checkouts from my small-town library.

Super glad to still have access to larger systems but don't think I won't support local, too.

Couldn't sleep this morning, so I finished The Lamb by Lucy Rose and oh, the horrors! Couldn't put it down. Interesting mother/daughter dynamic interrupted by an intruder into their lives. Also, cannibalism.
