It’s puts it all into perspective. A shit VAR decision or defensive mistake doesn’t really matter, not really at all. A win, or loss, it’s irrelevant in the big scheme. You just want friends and family to be be happy and healthy. Wishing you and your daughter a happy and healthy 2025.

I read a book kids story book called first and ten. Then the follow ups Second and five, third and goal, touchdown. The main character was a 49ers fan. Great books.

We played well at times but no cutting edge. We have no decent striker. In previous seasons Lambert, Pelle, Ings all were prolific. We’ve got nothing near this standard. As for BBD, what was the point?

It was a game we were unlikely to win, even with our first choice XI. I thought we played well in parts and some players had really good games. Stephens cost us but him being a loose cannon may ultimately help us as RM may no longer trust him. It’s not all doom and gloom.

I was only six but I still remember the back page headline in Dads paper after the Notts County game, “Saints are in the elite”. Great times to be a six year old Saints fan!!
